The original purpose for those were to alert rescue services that there was a 'baby on board' in the event of an accident. Now they are pointless Dude that's the biggest load of shit I have ever read, non Gary Stanley post anyway. So you're saying when there was a nasty crash the firemen would get the parent out, start packing their stuff up until one of the eagle eyed firemen shouted out "Wait!!! There's a baby on board sign, we gotta go back in!!!". Don't think so. They were designed to stop aggressive driving.

Well they originated in the US so I guess they would need signs to point stuff out! It was meant if the parent was dead, and they couldn't see/hear the child

So in a serious crash, a piece of paper dangling from the intact back windscreen would be used to tell qualified, experienced firemen that there was a baby in the back. Not even yanks would be that stoopid.

Or if the young'n got thrown out of the vehicle, so they could check the surrounding area. They are POINTLESS now though because they are not used for this purpose and also people don't take the sign down when there is no kid on board

So is that why Diana died, because she didn't have a "princess on board" sign hanging up? They just got Dodi out the car and didn't realise she was in there.

Look I'm just saying that's what they were meant for. I know it seems daft and it is, but it is the truth!

I have to say McSporran, keep your See you Jimmy hat on, but I think the Piemaster General is absolutely correct about the origins of the Baby on Board sticker things.
I saw the funniest thing ever the other day. I saw a beaten up 20 year old Ford Escort and on the bumper it said: "My other car's a Porsche!"
I swear it's true.
Funny as fuck.

I beleive he is dead. WWF was definately quality back then, much better than now. I tried watching it recently but it's all over the place. Yeah i remember him in Princess Bride. Andre the Gaint died in 1992 I think, he went to his dads funeral during that day and died in the evening of an heart attack. I also remember Texas Tornado shooting himself in the same year. Big Boss Man, Crash Holly, recently died. I know loads who passed away. I used to be mad about it
