I have a very critical eye when it comes to photos - something that comes from being an enthusiastic amateur shooter I guess - but those shots are really very good. Sky's blown out a bit on 2,3 and 4, but other than that, makes me want to visit. Better than watching footie eh........

Those pictures are really very good...one of the few places i want to see...been to Newcastle and Carlisle with work and next time ime in the areas those pictures have persuaded me to make an effort and see some of that wall.

I 've done a few bits of HW at both ends and in the middle...there is now an LDP which nominally does the whole thing...don't know too much about it though. I'm more of a Wansdyke man myself....did a long Wansdyke walk a few years back about this time of year in some very windy sleety stuff, my mate seriously reckoned at the end of it he was suffering from hypothermia |
