24 hours ago I decided to walk home from Cricklade to West Swindon.
Stupid, stupid idea.
That does sound like a very stupid idea. Did you get a kebab from Sammy's en route?

how did that work out for you nemo?
I'm still cold now. It took two and a half hours and involved walking down the middle of pitch black roads while cars speed down them driven by drunks at about 50 mph. I wouldn't reccomend it. Especially without the kebab, which we neglected to get.

Nice, a latwe night thread, first in about a bjillion years, YEAH! What have i done today... Got over the shits and celebrated with some cooking. Made myself some Chicken Fajitas with extra onions and peppers, mainly because i got a new "Cook's Knife" for Christmas and love cutting shit with it. It goes through Onions like butter and the thing is fucking lethal, it's like a fucking scalpel. I might take it to football with me, because i coulda definately sliced up people after Shighton and blades like that need their limitations testing. Oh, and it's a Global for those that care.

Being an old fart, I have to take my stupidity at third hand these days. So was especially delighted after a dull, if pleasant, NYE to wake up this am and find the stepson (who was supposed to be staying over at some party he'd been to) had walked approx 2 miles home and left a good third of his outer clothing in the back garden when he got home, found the house securely bolted and managed to secure entry (we think) via the dog flap. When we finally got him out of bed around 3pm he denied all knowledge of any such shenannigans, and initially mounted an impressive foray of insisting he was in fact at his mate's house and that we'd turned up there just to have him on. Then went through the standard ritual agonies of trying to work out why the hell he'd decided to walk home in -whatever it was temps over several miles, who he'd fallen out with, why he couldn't remember any of it, denial of coming in thru the dog flap etc etc. Good work, sir!

Walked the dog and made a cup of tea. We're living life to the max fellas. Might have a chocolate hobnob in a bit. Now that's what I call a Saturday Morning.

I have been setting up my photo printer and its ace!
I need to clean my room and do some washing, go and collect my shampoo from the hairdressers (but do my hair first so it doesnt look shit and get bullied for not re-creating it the way they did it)
And then I might do some cooking, watch the tennis and then Jeff Stelling!
Oh the excitement!
