Right, I’ve decided I am going to buy a laptop. But i have no idea what to get or what I need.

My Desktop computer is wank and shared with the family. The family have wireless internet connection so I can steal t'internet off them, no problems there. The biggest and most frustrating problem I have at the moment is that Football Manager 2009 runs about as fast as Adi Viveash with a broken leg, so that game running fast on this new laptop is an absolute must.

The other thing which would be ideal would be a fair bit of space to store my music. Say 5000 songs to be more than comfortable for what I want on my iPod Nano.

so any geeks, nerds, boffins, etc. or just someone who knows what the fuck they are talking about when it comes to these things.....what do you recommend? And what is the minimum I’m going to need?

All much of a muchness really. Anything with 2GB of RAM and a Core2Duo will play FM09 no probs. Shouldn't cost you much more than £350.
