its really good, not particularly dark if i remember correctly. if you want some first-person depravity, alcoholism, furious masturbation/sex and general self destruction, try Bukowski's Post Office. Its nice and short, same as Catcher in the Rye, and is a great read.

Sounds good...one of my favouritist possessions is, a bicycle chain...link remover and putter back tool.

Its ace...I carried it for years without need, then somewhere in a field, in a field in Hampshire, my chain snapped. The little tool pushes out a rivet, and then enables you to push it back in to an unbroken link...pretty much fucked without it. Every home should have one.

Shirt, Magners' presentation case, Jethro dvd Lou Macari's book, Fred Dibnah boxed set of dvds, tin of wine gums and a very interesting book called "I never knew that about England" (very Reg type of book).  Best news of all was my daugher from Yorkshire ringing saying that I was going to be a grandad again in August!!  Taking my other grandchildren back home Christmas night the fucking car caught aids or something and started misfiring all over the place!  What a time to break down!!! And we know what we're knowin'
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out
