Ramos has always liked to play with out and out wingers....at Sevilla he had Jesus Navas on the right and Adriano or Diego Capel on the left. At Real...I can't think of an out and out right winger. |

he does at times Jan, but is playing left back currently from what I've seen.
Real's only out and out winger is Robben
Thats no excuse for trying to sign Pennant though, I'm begining to think that Ramos' sucess at Sevilla was pure luck

Pennant could do a reasonable job in La Liga, if he behaves. Fuck, if he plays well for Real - he'll be considered for England probably.
I'm not his biggest fan but I often wonder why players don't try their luck abroad more often.

The old Euro rate hitting parity with Sterling may just see a few more European clubs sniffing about at English players again, although their value is still fairly inflated by comparison to other players of a similar ability.

There was an article on the beeb a few months back in which the chairman sorta made that point. Seville invest massivly in a South American scouting system so they are able to sign players before the bigger clubs get a sniff. He made the point that these players made the difference and that Ramos wasn't all that. |

Sneijder plays out on the right so i cannot see Pennant getting a game ahead of him. Drenthe is wank. Ramos will be after as Reg pointed out earlier Diego Capel/Navas who he wanted when he was at spurs.
