Ken Bates always gets his man. Especially when against the little clubs (even if they are in higher leagues)

Bollocks.. there goes my there are decent mangers who stick with a smallish club because of their low profile theory...no to Jamie Vincent then.

Yes, but once again Bates has done it in an extremely questionable way.  Id rather Fitton and co actually got agreement to talk to clubs and did it the right way given our history with the FA / FL. (Who are of course, full of shit)

TBH they'll probably get awya with it, we wouldnt.

Blackpool claiming they refused permission for Leeds to approach Grayson and are now gonna take legal action against both.  Guess the mercurial Ken will ride in with a fistful of fivers to buy everybody off!

Well reports on the radio seem to be saying that leeds were refused permission to talk to grayson yesterday, grayson tendered his resignation this morning which wasnt accepted.  Obviously not been tapped up there at all.

I just think that we have in the past been dealt with more harshly than clubs that the fa and fl seem to believe are 'big' clubs.  And as such I wouldn't welcome Fitton and co pushing the rules in the way that Bates seems to does.

This is Ken Bates we're talking about, he thinks the rules don't apply to him.

I'd find it quite funny if Blackpool took legal action and Grayson was put on Garden Leave for a few weeks

Perhpas Leeds could get docked more points. That would be good. Another year in League One would do them the world of good. Smiley

They won't need points docked for that at this rate. Would be a bit cautious about grayson if im honest. Can he cope with the step up to a bigger club?

One thing you can be sure of, if Grayson had been appointed by Fitton, the mongs would have been straight on his case....

It's a step up to a bigger club, and presumably a bigger wage package, but Leeds are no better than Blackpool on the pitch, so I don't think Grayson would have found the transition too difficult. If Bates has broken the rules he/Leeds should be punished accordingly, if not then leave it be
