So as the atmosphere is so effin shiite at the CG this season, match after match I was thinking that one match everyone should swap their comfy, good vantage point seats and head back in the town end and get the atmosphere back.  I think the ticket office will sort this out for free, so how about everyone piling back in the TE for the Stockport match?  Just an idea but maybe it'll be worth the rubbish view to get behind the lads for 90 minutes solid.

Thoughts?

Good idea Jan. Us Townenders have struggled with the half influx to the DRS and Arkells this year. The shit football hasn't helped either.

Will the Ticket Office defo let us do this for free then? I would be more than happy to move to the TE.

i'm sure I read earlier in the season the club said you could transfer across to another stand.  I'll mail the club and see if they wouldn't mind the ticket office doing this.  Surely in an attempt to get some kind of atmosphere going they wouldn't be opposed to the idea.

I'm pretty sure you can change your seat by informing the box office in advance on matchdays, they can then release your normal seat for sell.

well let's see how many of us are prepared to sacrifice the view and make the switch and take it from there. We've got a couple of weeks.

I asked earlier in the season and they said it would cost £15 to change seats.

Apart from that I'd be happy too.

That's the fee they charge to change for the rest of the season.

If people who currently sit in other stands could say whether, if free, they'd be up for a TE "reunion" (of sorts) against Stockport, please say on here, then I can mention numbers to the STFC bloke I'll mail.  I'm sure they'd arrange it for free.

Exactly DV, if a few of us go back for one match, it'd show the management, the players, the board exactly that we do have a decent support, we're just all dotted around the ground.

Just a thought though, it'd need a good number of us to make it worth while.

I think I'm gunna try move to the TE for the rest of the season. Atmosphere is so shit in the DR Stand (Apart from Leicester). I'd rather a good atmosphere than a good view.
