He never got to Leicester though did he.

Good luck to him, he's STFC history.

He said his time at the County Ground was "enjoyable", but says poor results, including a 1-0 FA Cup defeat to non-league Histon, and a lack of backing from some of the club's directors contributed to his exit.

Malpas always said he had the backing of the chairman, Probably just making excuses for his departure to be fair!

He said Directors and not Chairman. Obviously he could be including Fitton in that but maybe it was the likes of Watkins and Wray that lost patience.

I am guessing that it was Bert who lost patience.

And yes I am fully aware that he supported Malpas on his blog, but what I have learnt during my time here is that sometimes things aren't always as they seem.

I like Malpas' phylosophy towards the game. I reckon he could do a job for us.

Maybe he's the other candidate along with Money???

Who wants to be the Swindon fan that "warns" Crewe - or will the Motherwell fans continue doing that job?

It looks like he's borrowed Mourinho's lips for the possible interview at Crewe ... I can imagine his opening gambit "I'm the special one for you. Gissa job"
