Nah seriously I think Crimbo is much better when you have kids and you can see the enjoyment on their faces with adults it all just fades away quickly.

Passing St. James' Park on route into Town earlier I noticed Santa Claus was driving the number 100 bus from West Road to Wallsend - times are obviously just as hard in the North Pole these days.

I fuckin hate christmas. Call me scrooge I really dont care. Why cant people shop throughout the year instead of clogging town. Its not like people don't know Christmas is coming. Its not something where they said "oh I know lets try a thing called christmas this year to boost the economy" The music, the food, all bollocks IMO. I can understand if you have kids they would be excited etc but if you dont really have any family like me I really don't give a fuck about any of it.
I went to the post office today had to queue half hour to pay a phone bill. There should be a Christmas queue and a normal queue. Does my head in the whole lot.
If I ever find a woman and have kids I'm sure I may enjoy it more but right now I can't wait for it to be over.

It's my Nan's bill she refuses to pay anything but in a bank or post office. Old people won't pay online, direct debit or by card!

The anticipation of Christmas is great.
Then it's here and you realise it's like getting a kebab: You're really looking forward to it, but once you've had it you feel a bit let down.....

What if they were all paying their phone bills too?
