Chloraseptic Spray always works for me,It supposed to be for sore throats but i use it when i get cold to,and it seems to work for me,It kills the bacteria in your throat.

I got a cold 7 weeks ago and I still have it now.It seems to have fucked my lungs up as well and given me asthma.Im on the same steroids as my dog.

yes that man. put in a mug: juice of at least half a lemon a shot of whiskey decent dollop of honey fresh grated ginger - as much as you can handle top up with hot water that'll blow the cobwebs away. tastes lovely too.

Oh dear. Can i get rid of it quicker by following some of these top tips? And would it help if i stopped taking immune suppressants aswell for a couple of days? Im gonna get some scotch n ginger tomo cheers people! Im being a proper girl cos its our xmas party saturday night, i brought a lovely dress weeks ago and have been dieting for forever to make sure i fit in it and now i get a flipping cold so may aswell go out in a bloody bin bag if at all! Hope you feel better soon Yeovil, 7 weeks sucks i feel bad complaining

Sounds like pleuresi Yeovil!  Ive just looked that up and it does seem a bit like that. Not having a GP has probably hindered a proper diagnosis the walk in centres are a bit naff.Finally signed up to a GP yesterday and still cant make an appointment till next week.Working nights doesn't help with recovering either. I was healthy till i gave up the fags.

Echinchea capsules. You get them from Boots and similar places. Absolute wonder drug, better than any other cold remedy. Get it down you early tho as once it develops, your fucked!!!

I got a cold the back end of last week. Pissed me off a bit because I thought I was going to be a sniffly mess in my exam today.
Sudafed works best for me. It's a decongestant. I took it this weekend and I was fine today.

So if I hypothetically and in reality get continually pissed on Guiness ( wine, beer, cider, anything ) then why do I get cold in the first placec when I'm doing everything I can to prevent it?
