How much damage can you do yourself at 10mph? (I assume you were going at top speed?)

Was on my moped going down queens drive when my back tyre expoded spinning me across the 2 lanes outside. Luckily the other cars were just pulling from the lights and not doing any speed at all.

In the 3 seconds it took i heard god say "not yet Deano we are not ready for you"

oh and my boxers are ruined Smiley

That must have been right around the time I flew off my bike on Queen's drive. Thank fuck for helmets, my knee's a bit of a mess though. Fucking black ice.

It was well dodgy this morning....think the sky must have cleared just before dawn, and the bit of overnight rain froze...ace patterns on the car roofs as I slid into work.

I did notice how lovely the patterns in the ice looked as my head smacked into them.

It's the little things that count..walking is the best way to travel, but cycling is OK especially when you take the time to look around....did you appreciate the different perspective on the world, from your prone position?

No, I just said 'fuck' a lot, bent my reflectors and brake lever back into place and carried on. I did notice that the ice was quite cold and that Tarmac in the knee chafes a little.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who nearly died on a bike this morning. Mine was a Pedal cycle and a bit less interesting than axs's so I'll spare you the details.

I did manage to slide it slow enough to swear before I hit the floor though, I always seem to manage that.

Can quite see why your boxers are ruined if your backside exploded causing a problem for all the other genuine drivers on Queens Drive! Moped

Yeah, but the moped is ok. You've got to put these things into perspective mate.
