It's not as if she killed anybody.
They don't come across as an intelligent duo. I'm amazed they kept it going for so long. The media have been pretty brutal towards her, I guess the tabloids don't like it when other people muscle in on their exploiting people emotions for cash territory.
Where they went wrong is using a child who actually existed. The best way to scam the wave of fake emotion maddie style bollocks would be to somehow fake a child and then say they're missing. She's got fuck loads, would have been easy to convince her neighbours that she had another 8 year old or something. No chance of them being found, and you don't have to actually kidnap one of your kids. Genius plan.
How many kids does she have? I'm sure they can make a short career doing chat shows about their mother in a few years. I bet Jeremy Kyle would have them on.
