Calderwood is not a poor, poor manager. That's harsh. He's not outstanding but he's had a modest lower league management career.

"NO managerial experience, little coaching expirence, no experience of this league and the players around it" because despite that, that didn't stop Macari, Hoddle and Ardiles from doing pretty well here. I'd imagine that's why Speed interests certain supporters. He's a gamble but it could pay off.
As for Colin, he's not a poor, poor manager at all. Okay he may not be great, or even very good, but to call him poor is a bit OTT, he had got his last two clubs promoted. Think the situation at NFFC may say more about the fans than the manager.

If Speed came as player-manager at least he'd make the midfield existent on the pitch for once. Peacock and Pook piss me off playing so deep.

They were all negative points raised every single day against Malpas from day 1. If we wanted rid of Malpas for the above things, then surely bringing in another manager who lacks those qualities is just stupid and asking for the same outcome?

I would take Calderwood and Money over Gary Speed at the moment. I don't think we're in the position to take such risks.

FFS - seriously pissed off they announce 20% off days with just a week to go to xmas. I spent an over inflated £30 on a duvet cover set for the little one, £6 off would have made it a more realistic price (I forgot my ST so didn't get the discount). Sorry but the shop side of the commercials has really pissed me off this season.

We didn't want Malpas out for those reasons in the end... we wanted him out because of poor results, poor signings, and general rubbishness.
Wise had relatively little experience (less than Malpas) and he got us into shape, hard to beat, and fairly successful.

Did he? I thought he just had a year at Millwall. Which is the same time Malpas had at Motherwell and forgetting his U21 work

Take it back get a refund and then purchase it again It's wrapped up now and I'd rather moan than do anything about it.
