Makes a change for us to be poaching somebody elses manager for once Smiley

Haven't got a clue who they might be, assuming the reports we've heard about Ling and Calderwood not being in the running are true.

Are any of the reports we've heard true?!

If they are it looks to me like we are going down the Watford/ Huddersfield route getting a good number 2.

We'll the only people 'in work' that we've speculated about (Ling, Calderwood, Speed & Money) have all been played down by Fitton himself.

It's going to be someone shite, I'm sure. "In work" doesn't necessarily mean another clubs manager. It could be Halifax's physio for all we fucking know. I must say this is all getting quite boring now.

I don't trust the WDP personally.....

Every time we're certain it's someone we get another peice of 'information' that blows it out of the water.

That's the way! Why be optimistic when we can be miserable even before anyone's appointed?

Cheers! But really, what's the fucking point of being on a downer all the time and always believing the worst?

Why not be stupidly optimistic then, if it does turn out to be a disappointment, you've at least had a happy few days.

Agreed. If I lived in Melksham I wouldn't be making comments on this thread. I'd stick to the assisted suicide one.

Further to come down if disappointment strikes!

Talking of which, the CG soundbites now seem to be setting expectations for a "who?" appointment. Not necessarily a bad thing but a tad disappointing after the club induced hype.

Gary Waddock (Aldershot manager) has been strongly linked, would be a disappointment to most but done quite a good job down there.
