Sanchez would make sense, fits in wit AF's clues earlier in the week. Really think he's judged Town fans wrong here though as not sure how many fans would be blown away with Sanchez.
Blown away into giving up by the sounds of it...personally I've no particular axe to grind with Sanchez...when he left Reading Macari tried to sign him, but he opted for Wimbledon. His Prem sojourn at teh CG was too short to have any real significance. He did have a bit of a spat when Gary Alexander scored a couple v Wycombe which knocked them out of a cup...can't remember which one...either LC or Skoda Hub Cap. He branded GA nothing better than a Div 4 striker...seeing how Alexander has played most of his football since at that level he was probably right. If he gets the job let's see if he can improve our present lifeless club....

I may get flames for this, but does Sanchez not have a decent managerial record?

That's on the assumption that: a) Sanchez is on the list at all b) It was Sanchez AF was talking about For all we know (as in actually know, not have read about in rebaked rumour threads/betting odds recycled as stories in the Adver) Sanchez has neither applied or being considered. Or he may have applied and AF wiped his arse on his letter. On the basis of a series of hypothetical assumptions, I think you're being a touch harsh on AF there Jan.

I've disliked Sanchez since that stint with us in the Prem, he was as bad as Webb and a dick with it, since then he's done nothing to change my mind - in fact he's only fuelled my dislike for him so I'd be pretty pissed off if it were him.
Other than that I'm fairly appathetic at the moment, there are a few I really don't want involved with Swindon but there are a few I'd quite like to see here. If I could choose I'd go with Pearce but other than that anyone with any semblance of a success in their previous jobs will do I suppose.

Which are my thoughts exactly smeghead. Did he not also do a damned good job with N. Ireland, a country that are very low in the leagues of international football?

How true is this Stuart Pearce story?
I personally would love him as manager.

We may never know Ralphy. Still, probably best to have faith, belief is very powerful.
If he isn't our manager next week it's because you didn't believe enough. You bastard.

I don't think Wycombe would say they were playing above their level.

Sanchez is the only one who I DO NOT WANT AS MANAGER others have got sketchy records but I would happily accept them, but I cannot forgive or forget how Sanchez played for us during his time here.
I do not think he is someone that would be instantly accepted by the fan's, most other managers would regardless of record.
Let's hope it is Pearce
