From the BBC.... Swindon seek Premiership loanees Swindon Town boss Andy King hopes he can attract a number of players from Premiership clubs on loan next season. King told BBC Radio Swindon: "I've sent a letter out to all Premiership clubs asking for an indication of young players they'd be prepared to loan out.
"We've had two clubs, Norwich and Manchester City, sending back letters saying it's not possible.
"I'm waiting now because Premiership clubs want to get their squads together and knowing who they're releasing."

I wouldn't have minded Lee Croft from Manchester City but it looks like he's got in their first team now.

ANDY King has sent out a ‘friendly’ SOS to all 20 Premiership clubs. Repairs to the County Ground pitch and the small matter of an Elton John concert mean Town will only have one opportunity to stage a home friendly.
Reading and Charlton Athletic had both been pencilled in to visit Town in July but both have now been scrubbed.
King said: “Due to a couple of reasons it looks like Saturday, July 30 is the only window we have.
“I have sent a letter to all the Premiership clubs asking for a fixture.
“So far the only replies I’ve had back are from Manchester City and Norwich. Unfortunately neither club could give me a ‘yes’.
Town have yet to confirm any pre-season friendlies although King is keen to spend part of the build-up to 2005-6 in Devon and Cornwall. i knew there was a similar story somewhere.

Thats one in the eye for the big 3 Either that or they just have some sort of automated rebuffing e-mail system.
