Just got a Wii for the kids.

Got a Wii fit for the missus (hope she takes it well!?).

What extra bits and bobs do i need to get for it?

Dont want to be stuck on Christmas day without stuff i need.

Any general Wii user tips also appreciated. Smiley

It's good stuff, but I'd buy some rechargeable batteries as the controllers drink the disposable variety.

And I'd second Mario Kart, it's excellent and really easy to pick up.

Yeah Mario Kart and an extra wiimote(or whatever they're called) or two.

I think Mario Kart and Wii Sports are the two I've played the most round friends houses.

Get WiiPlay. I paid 29.99 and you get a free controller. The controller on their own is £19.99 i think

Think they're AA. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Double A's yep, I think some Wii rechargeables are actually AAA's in a case to fit AA, which seems a bit pointless but if it works I suppose.

My sister has a Wii and Mario Kart is definately the most fun. She has 4 steerling wheels as well and I think playing with the steering wheel really enhances the enjoyment as well.

Don't get the Wii Fit, it said I was about 48 (I am 29!!)

Actually I think it may have been worse. I remember my family laughing at me as my dad's Wii age (he is 59) was similar to mine! I think my posture is quite bad and I don't find balancing very easy after my left knee was 'rebuilt' which still gives me gipp.

Or something.
