i'm looking into getting one (well this one)

http://www.sony.co.uk/product/blu-ray-disc-player/bdp-s350#pageType=TechnicalSpecs

but i've found it for £174 inc delivery.

I have been toying with getting a PS3 (but it's not multi region) but we have just brought a Wii so i've got that for my games console etc but was wondering if others know of any better/alternative Blue-Ray players for the money?!

Yeah put one in your PC for less than £70 and hook it up to your TV Smiley

that's something i've thought of too but am still only running a crappy old 7900gt and i also don't think the GF would allow it as the if someone wanted to use the comp whilst i'm watching the footy they couldn't.

i'd say go with a sony for sure.they invented blue ray and as it's still fairly new its the safest purchase i reckon.

I'm still yet to see a film in blu-ray. Maybe one day I'll be able to replace my tv, ps2 and dvd player and then catch up with everybody else!

Blu-ray is just awesome

i was in Currys at the weekend and they had a blue-ray film showing on one screen and normal tv on another and i could finally show my Mrs the difference.

I'm still yet to see a film in blu-ray. Maybe one day I'll be able to replace my tv, ps2 and dvd player and then catch up with everybody else!

from what i have seen it is just quality all the way. Yet to see it on my new tv but i can't wait to get a player and try it out.

Can't decide what my first Blue-Ray film to buy and watch will be though.

My PS3 didn't turn up today so I'm yet to sample the delights of Blu-Ray. Sad

It's a fucking cartoon, how disappointing. Still fun on Blu-Ray though, quite ridiculous graphics.
