Smith was injured in the first half,I lost interest shortly after that.

Well said

No throwing wobbly's or knee jerk reactions from me

It happens FFS

Lets get over it an move on to Leicester Saturday

I have seen enough in the last 3 games to satisfy myself that there is a way forward.

Those that are calling for MM's head again are quite frankly boring the shit out of me

Fuck this 'shit happens' bollocks. We were playing a team 33 places below us in the leagues in a competition that can bring rich rewards in round 3.

It was never going to be easy. And if you go down, then at least it is palatable to go down fighting. We had 2 fucking shots on goal against a non-league team.

The management AND players should be fucking embarrassed, I know I am.

I hope this doesn't derail the recent upturn in league form and subsequent improvement in atmosphere at the CG.

The JPT is the only thing we fans have left  to look forward to now.

I'm not saying one bad result makes a disaster. I'm merely saying it isn't acceptable to me.

i only listened to 20 minutes but wasnt it just a case of us getting "done" by some Long Ball merchants?

Inswinging corner from left by-line taken right-footed by Lanre Oyebanjo (Histon) to centre, goal by Daniel Wright (Histon) right-footed (bottom-right of goal) from left side of penalty area (12 yards).Histon 1-0 Swindon. Assist (pass) by Nathaniel Knight-Percival (Histon) from left channel.

Danny Wright

Danny joined Histon in March 2007 from Dereham Town and quickly adapted to goalscoring at a higher level. In his first full season Danny scored 18 goals including 15 in the Blue Square Premier to win the team’s golden boot award. Danny has the ability to achieve anything he sets his sights on and during this season will be sure to write many a headline.

First team debut: Histon v Cambridge City, 03/04/2007 as a substitute.
Full first team debut: Histon v Sutton United, 17/04/2007.
First goal: against Farnborough Town, away, 28/04/2007.

Histon career:
Season       Apps (as sub)       Goals
2006/7      3 (2)                       2
2007/8      37 (11)              18

Nathaniel Knight-Percival

Nathaniel enjoyed a wonderful 2007/8 season, becoming an ever present member of the team. He has progressed through the Histon youth ranks and his performances were recognised by Paul Fairclough, the England non-league team manager, who awarded Nat with his first England C call up.

First team debut: Mildenhall Town v Histon, 11/01/2005 as a substitute.
Full first team debut: Histon v Cirencester Town, 22/01/2005.
First goal: against Leighton Town at home, 25/01/2005.

Histon career:
Season       Apps (as sub)    Goals
2004/5      8 (4)              3
2005/6      26 (16)      3
2006/7      20 (eight)      5

Lanre Oyebanjo

Brentford’s loss is Histon’s gain! Lanre joined the club in July 2008 and has immediately made a positive impact. His call up to the Ireland under-19 squad is a mark of just how much potential this young man has. If he fulfils his ambitions with Histon FC it can only be a good thing for him and the club.

First team debut: Mansfield Town v Histon, 12/08/2008 as a substitute.
Full first team debut: York City v Histon, 16/08/2008.
