Is it out today is it not?  Smiley

Really looking forward to going to see this.

Anyhow the xbox game looks quality, somebody reckoned it could be up there with goldeneye for multiplayer

I saw it a few months ago - it was the solo mode only- and I thought that it looked like a crock of shit. A real rush job thrown together by a B-team of devs with little regards for what actually makes Bond, well...Bond. Sloppy AI, lowest common demoninator gameplay of set-piece events based on shooting and very little else and ripped off R6: Vegas mechanics. The best thing about it is the COD 4 engine.

But like I said that was a few months back and people say that it is better and the mplayer is solid and the options are good, but don't expect anything refined, it is aimed low. Non-gamers will love it.

Oh and the project lead is a cock.

It's difficult.  The director has obviously decided that they need to do something different to keep it fresh, but that's upset the traditionalists - who expect gadgets etc and overtly sexist banter from the star.  (If anyone has seen the Alan Partridge episode where he attempts a 24 hour Bondathon in his mobile home will know what I mean.  'Stop getting Bond wrong!!'  Priceless.)

I'm always disappointed if, when I hear a Bond song for the first time, it doesn't sound like one.  I've never been able to put my finger on what makes a Bond song sound like a Bond song.  Is it something to do with the minor key that's often used?  Melodies often sound vaguely Middle Eastern to me.

And another thing...Quantum of Solace: shit name.

I think Johnny Vegas (of all people) got it right when he said that Bond was turning into a poor copy of the Bourne series.

I saw Ghost Town with mother instead of Bond, glad I did.

I probably see it some time next week. I'm not going in with great expecations because I really didnt like Casino Royale.

As for the computer games multiplayer being as good as GoldenEyes, no chance. GoldenEye multiplayer will always be the best!!

I read this review last sunday, but didn't post at that time, because i thought it only fair that

TEF posters had the chance to make their minds up first. It looks as if most are already in agreement.
