its a joke. why should chelsea get quarter of the fee. i know its in his contract but come on...do chelsea need it!? NO! we need every penny.

Chelsea I believe lost something like 80 mill last season,  Kenyon has said they need to be run more prudently, so I'm sure they'll look forward to their cut of the Parkin fee.

Can't see Chelski cutting their fee unfortunately.  Kenyon is trying to get them self sufficient and they’re not going to start dropping commission on a player that we got on the cheap in the first place.

Good news about the re-negotiation on the contract front.  If we ended up in a situation where players where lost due to contract length then it would be totally unacceptable.  Especially when players like Smith where given a 2 year deal in the first place as a virtual unknown.

chelsea can't cut out the fee - they have a duty to their shareholders to collect money such as that - they would have many unhappy shareholders if they did cut the fee. it is really shitty though, 100k is so much to swindon but nothing to chelsea.
