tom waits. yeah, he's strange, eccentric and his music can be a little difficult to get into but he's got to be one of the most talented singer/songwriters of all time. nobody matches him.

The Music. One of the best live bands i've ever seen and never get any recognition at all.
They're brilliant, and different to all the drivel that has been constantly pumped out over the last 5 years.

critically acclaimed, aye. i think he deserves far more mainstream recognition though - some of his early stuff is great. everyone should listen to closing time. |
