Cracker if King pulls it off, really hope Derby can get promoted and Burley let's him out for the season.

If King is to convince Parkin he's building a squad to challenge then Holmes on a season long loan would be a good start.

Quote
EXCLUSIVE: LEE Holmes is high on Andy King’s ‘wanted’ list this summer and the Town boss will attempt to persuade George Burley to loan the youngster out for the 2005-6 campaign.

The County Ground chief admits he will telephone his Pride Park counterpart more in hope than expectation but takes the view that it’s a case of nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Holmes, 18, found it difficult to break into Derby’s play-off pushing first team last season and admitted that new life had been breathed into his career during three months on loan in Wiltshire.
