in Oxford.

Anyone been before?  Can you have a meal at the place as well, or is it better to eat beforehand?

I went to one in (I think it was) Bristol ages ago.  Food as Sutton says was basket type stuff - ours was cold and not really up to scratch but could have improved by now as was ages ago.

I'd go for dinner first personally and just have drinks in there.

Yes we quite often go there for Fire Station nights out etc. You can eat there too iirc, it turns into Bar Risa as well

I often book things there for clients and we tend to book food in nearby resturants to be safe

If you can, I highly recommend sitting as close to the front as you can. If possible, try giving the comedian some grief when he or she gets on stage. You won't regret it ............................................. honest.

my cat is called tibbs terry. its sitting on my lap now, and its fucking annoying because it either constantly digs its claws in or licks my hand when i'm trying to type.

back to the subject some pisshead sat next to me heckled bill bailey and got ribbed for a good five minutes, was possibly the funniest part of the show along with the other improvised parts.

I've been to a few of them, & the foramt is ussually two comedians, a break & then the main comic. Food is served & the times I have been most have been eating. After the main show, the tables are moved & they have a disco.
I enjoy it particualrly beacuse you can't go to the bar when the comedian is on, instead you have to get jugs (4 pints) of booze before the acts.
