Why are ghosts always fully clothed, or at least in their night/bed clothes? You never see a naked ghost thesedays. That'd be ace!

My missus wanted to see Acorah in Salisbury.......he was totally shit and just made stuff up until he got a hook from someone...........eg......I am getting a message from a man in a butchers apron holding a knife.....he kept going until someone piped up......total shite. Sad thing was there were people there that actually were moved, one woman had her Granddads watch etc etc.....very sad. Nearly as sad as me paying £30 to watch the shite!
A mate of mine went with Acurah to the Bear hotel in Devizes when they did the show there. He was down the cellar with him and before Acura could do his 'man possessed' bit my mate started speaking in a funny voice claiming to be a ghost (he thinks he has 'powers' as well!) - it was funny as fuck cos you could see that he was stealing Acurahs thunder and he was getting fucking annoyed with the whole situation and at the end of the show when they come up with some historical research of the ghost that made contact they said there was no evidence to suggest the ghost my mate has been possessed by existed... I bet if Acurah had done it he would have researched the history and found a 'ghost' that fitted the bill... just sour grapes me thinks!!!! Edit: and by the way I don't for one minute believe my mate was possessed - he's a crap actor with a broad west country accent and with his rotund size there would never be enough room for a ghost to get inside him...

Bickering over who's best at getting possessed could just well be one of the funniest things you can witness!!!

I could imagine Acorah going back to his dressing room and having a huge head fit over it...

I love to stay in a proper haunted house because after that I would/might believe in ghosts and stuff. I've not seen a single on yet though.

I'd be well up for that if I could. No chance of getting the misses doing it though as Thai's beleive in ghosts 100%.
I took her to a 'ghost house' once, the type where dressed up people jump out on you and stuff. My misses crapped herself and clobbered some poor ghost (Bloke) with her handbag.
I found it funny if nobody else did.

For anyone seriously interested about the paranormal as a whole, including this topic, I would recommend reading "Is there an afterlife?", by Professor David Fontana, a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a past President of the Society for Psychical Research. I have studied the subject for many years, and experimented in several areas. You have to experience any phenomena yourself, and it is not reliable or predictable. Also, you cannot expect anyone else to believe you are telling the truth, or you are maybe deluding yourself, or not being rational and logical. Besides many experiences which have indicated to me that the paranormal is real but very evasive, I have taken part in seances which included physical phenomena. These are objective, because everybody observes the same events and can compare notes. If fraud is eliminated, by the medium or accomplices, then events not explained by known scientific laws can be termed paranormal. To give one example. Table tilting, where a table is supposed to move in a seance without people pushing it in any way, sometimes spelling out "messages", was once very popular, and some skilled magicians were unable to detect any way that fraud could have taken place with certain mediums. ( See the book I mentioned P.321). Having seen this happen myself several times, I had the opportunity of leading a seance in my own home, with some friends and a physical medium. I set up all the conditions myself, and the table, so no fraud, and a subdued light meant we could all see clearly. We all placed our fingertips lightly on the table edge. After a while, during singing and taped music, the table began to rock backwards and forwards, and I asked all to take their hands right away from the table. They did so, but rocking continued, and we "talked" to the table/whatever by a simple code, ie one tilt for yes, two for no, then later A=1, z=26 etc. We asked if deceased people were there we knew, and the rocking became very vigorous. No way were we doing it. At this point it is tempting to delete this reply, because of fear of being labelled the Townend Nutter, and I don't expect anyone to believe me. I wouldn't believe me! However, my friends are all witnesses that an unknown energy rocked the table that day. The problem is, it can't be done to order. You need a medium and the right atmosphere, and it doesn't always work. I tried it with another group of six, but no medium, and nothing happened.
I still love football as well...

My missus stayed there with her mates a couple of years back, they all bricked it and stayed awake all night. Just be warned that if anything happens, there's no mobile phone signal in the pub...
