I moved seats on Saturday, went down to the front of the DR towards the Bank, and spent the 2nd half largely having some banter with the linesman.   This enabled me to have some fun, and not have to listen to people spouting bile every couple of seconds or covering me in spit.

Our next Manager will have to be someone like Hoddle for this lot to get back into a positive frame of mind.  It's a lost cause for Malpas I fear, but I equally fear for his replacement.  And I mostly fear for my sanity if I have to listen to the shit around me for many more matches.  There was one chap who just spent the best part of 15 minutes booing.

for anyone else drawing comparisons to 05/06, here are the league results after 8 games:

07/08: P8   W2   D2   L4   F10   A14

05/06: P8   W2   D1   L5   F9   A12

king was sacked after 10 league games with a record of:

P10   W2   D1   L7   F12   A17

two losses and i think it's goodnight irene for malpas...

Yeah it's almost as bad as under King. People say it's early doors but it's only 4 more games until we are a quarter of the way through the season already.
