Its my democratic right along with others if i dont want to vote, councilors are an easy target of course yeovil...but they dont help themselfs do they.
Got to say Yeovil but i dont agree with that hogwash about if you dont vote dont moan, lets face it half the country didnt vote labour last election but weve all had to suffer the consequences of the mess this country finds itself in....i would love to vote, but not for the sake of it Red.
In your part of the world you had Paddy Ashdown who did shed loads for Yeovil and its area, cant think of anyone down here whos done that down here.

I lived in Swindon since voting age.

Politicians and Councillers are ultimatly self serving idiots, this thread is about a single issue though isnt it? So if someone was to run for election on a "Save Coate" card would they get elected and would the turn out be higher? I doubt it personally because to many people see Swindon as somewhere they live rather than their home.

As for the Labour thing, the Country is in a state because of World Events in my opinion no one could have avoided our current problems.

Can't recall Ashdown doing much for Rodbourne...I know he single handedly helped Bosnia establish itself as a credible force in European football...Bosnia 7 Estonia 0 in the recent WC qualifiers.

The bricks are cooked ina earn type thing (too late to rememebr name) and it takes 6 - 8 weeks to close downa nd re open, they have closed it in the UK due to hosuing crisis so bricks will become short soon.  The infrastructure had to be doen due to the planning being taken away, it camt now.  Opposit the Beehive there are two proeprties foundations done, this is standard developers practice.

Maybe yeovil...but the reason alot of lib democrats get in at local level is because they do alot for the local areas they serve....anyway if they building houses at coate isnt progress....theres about 2000 in the new north swindon estates that they cant even sell even in a buyers climate....lets leave coate as it is is my opinion for what its worth.

Whats that thing they are building on fleming way, were the ford dealership used to be?
It's actually going to be a hotel.  Dear little Bushey is getting muddled up with the Ford garage in Old Town, that was demolished and residential development put on there.
