Switch kettle on.....boom big blue electric spark flies out and kettle makes explosion noise. Luckily my hand didnt touch the metal bit on the kettle!

I doubt it would have harmed you much Simon. When I was a kid I used to do stupid things that I knew would hurt. One day I thought it would be funny to stick my fingers in a desk lamp (the bit where the bulb goes), got a big shock but as you can see I'm still here. Might have been more luck than judgement.  |
