Switch kettle on.....boom big blue electric spark flies out and kettle makes explosion noise. Luckily my hand didnt touch the metal bit on the kettle!

Fucking shat my pants though!

I doubt it would have harmed you much Simon.

When I was a kid I used to do stupid things that I knew would hurt. One day I thought it would be funny to stick my fingers in a desk lamp (the bit where the bulb goes), got a big shock but as you can see I'm still here. Might have been more luck than judgement. Oops

Yeah you're probably right BP. People have killed themselves doing these things though, but they are most likely rare.

I made some coffee in the microwave the other day before I knew that you had to filter it before you could drink it.  I didnt drink it cos it was rank!

On the subject of stupid things, my mates once made a flame-thrower out of a super-soaker and some petrol.  Somehow they escaped without burns - fuckwits!
