I think Series 2 was the one that ruined it a bit. Wasn't really any point to it at all, except to fill between series 1 and 3.
I quite like how series 3 is developing. I know it's not massive in terms of plot, but we're starting to understand some of the characters through the story, rather than having snippets of back story. I think this way the series is constantly moving, although I guess tiem would tell if it has a direction.
I think the only thing that annoys me is how they use Hiro to tell the story, by making up some lame excuses why he has to go backwards and forwards in time. Oh and Parkman is an utter arse.

On BBC2 it's during the eclipse. Beeb 3 is the one where they eclipse passes.

Batch you loved it the other day? why the change of heart?
I still enjoy watching it, though it's off the 'must see as soon a possible' list. In my opinion: It's moving the plot too slowly and in a way which seems to indicate the writers don't know what what happens next. Some of it is getting a bit repetitive. HRG tries to get the 'baddies' . Save the world lots of times, Sylar loses his powers. Gets them back. Peter loses his powers. They have made Hiro into an ass. He was good light relief, now he is boring. They seem to be nicking the plot line off The 4400 and elsewhere. No originality. To me they seem to be leaving to many loose ends. What happened to the Oirish bint that went to the furture that never was. Can I even remember which possible future reality they are trying to prevent. More to the point do I care. I think it is suffering from Lostitis (tm) - in danger of dissapearing up it's own ass. Lost recovered because they now have a definite timeframe to resolve things in, I think Heroes needs to recover somehow too.

hmmm I can see you point - there is too many boring characters they could do with getting rid of -isnt there like 22 episodes in this series? and we are only on 10??

I think if they tried to tie up all the loose ends it would be pretty boring. I mean, do you really care what happened to that Irish girl? I think things get left like that because of the way Heroes is meant to be.
The whole point of the show is people using their powers for good and for bad, which is the classic comic book scenario and homage to comic books is always present. Precog paintings, The 9th Wonder comic book, even the writing when it introduces who they are and where they are in certain scenes looks like that in a comic book. It's never going to be more than a save the world/destroy the world scenario I think.
I suppose that's going to annoy people (and often it annoys me). Obviously the way it's written is a ploy to keep it going, but I think the way it's written is the bit which makes it original.
Edit: There was a double negative in there somewhere.

Anyone see the Louis Theroux in Philadelphia last sunday? Apparently it is repeated tonight on BBC3, can this be confirmed/denied please?
I don't watch much telly but I find his programmes quite interesting.
saw this, was quite interesting. The coppers weren't as horrifically stupid as you might expect.

Season 3 has been pretty shocking so far in terms of plot, or lack thereof.
HEROES is trading on past glories.

That's soooo last week JFW. The answer to the Elle question is shown at the start of the next episode. No sign of Nathan or wankhinder dying, but it wasn't a too bad episode on BBC 3 last night. Though I did think 'oh no, here we go again' when the Hiro plot developed. I got a bit Jealous watching Sylar and El podge! has he killed her then?
Do you fancy Elle too. Great!
