Pit your soccer knowledge against Town players

Teams of footballing fanatics are being sought to take on Swindon Town players to find out if those in the game really do know more than those who watch it.
Billed as 'Tackle the Town', it takes place at the Winners' Lounge at Swindon's County Ground at 7pm on Wednesday, October 1st with all proceeds from the quiz going to Prospect Hospice.
One of the event organisers, Swindon Town fan James Queenan, belives there are lots of football fans in the Town who would love to pit their wits against current and past Town favourites.
He said "Sports-fans are a competitive bunch and I'm sure there are many like me who would enjoy a good, football-based quiz night for our local hospice".It costs £35 for a team to enter the quiz, and teams can consist of up to 7 people. To register a team call Russell on 07882 731728  or email SportingChance@live.co.uk

i so didn't say that  Grin

Hi James,

apologies for the delay in getting back to you.  Unfortunately we are currently oversubscribed for the quiz night.  We are however going to visit the venue next week to see if it possible to increase numbers.

If it is, I will be back in contact.

Kind regards
