A note to all those who contributed. Firstly, thank you all very much for coughing up your hard earned cash. Secondly, we now need to decide what to do with the 'extras' that come with the sponsorship package. They are:

  • One pass to the Member's Suite for a League One home fixture (subject to availability). Friends and family can also be accommodated in the Members Suite for an additional discounted charge. I've checked with the club and this is two VIP tickets
  • A fully signed and framed team shirt of your sponsored player, to be presented at the second 'An Audience With STFC' dinner.
  • Two complimentary tickets to the bi-seasonal 'An Audience With STFC' dinner. At this event you will spend the evening with your sponsored player with photograph opportunities. This is scheduled to take place in February 2009.
  • Two Complimentary Main Stand tickets to a Coca Cola home League One game of your choice

I'm open to suggestions on what we do with these extras.

One suggestion I've already had for the match and VIP tickets was to raffle them amongst those who donated i.e. 1 raffle ticket for every x pounds given. Another is to open up the raffle to everybody and sell tickets for example £5 and then put the money to charity.

The same suggestions could apply with the framed shirt.

With regards to the 'An Audience With STFC' dinner, I'd like to go to this myself because I did put the time and effort into arranging this and collecting the money etc. If anyone has an opinion on this please let me know.

The raffle idea for the people that contributed sounds good to me Sam. I also agree with you having the tickets to the dinner as you organised it.

When are you hoping to do it just out of curiosity?

Sam - don't worry about having my name in the hat for any raffle etc.

And no problem at all with you attending the dinner.

Well as soon as I've got a general census of opinion then I'll get it all sorted out ASAP because we are obviously running out of home games!

I think that Sam should receive one extra himself for organising all the shit.

Then raffle off the rest:

1 ticket per £5 or £10 donated..

Well done Sam for sorting it,no problem with what you intend to do..you defo have the VIP cos you put alot of effort into this....dont think you should collect anymore money just put everyones name in a hat and the people who donated have a chance of a real nice prize.
