I just watched Harry (Enfield) and Paul (Whitehouse) on BBC2 and found it pretty funny.  I'm sure I saw this first time it was on and didn't laugh once.  But tonight the scene when the football manager does a team talk to his players in their respective languages cracked me up.

Edit - I think I worked it out, I think I'm just in a good mood (not sure why).

Maybe the serene English part of your genealogy is winning the battle for your soul. Celts can't fight the karma.

What you mean this angry, miserable scottish hlaf of my personality may fade away, only to be replaced by a jovial look on the bright side cheeky chappie?  Shit, I don't like the sound of that.

Maybe you're developing your own individuality instead of defining yourself by the nationality of a country you don't, and don't want to, live in?

Waaaait a minute, maybe that's it.  As long as I can still support Scotland's national football and rugby team that'll do me.  Is that allowed in the world according to Ben?  If so not much will change really.

PS You get to that conclusion from the fact I liked an episode of Harry and Paul?  Wow that's some talent.

Rod Stewart's ace!!  My old man's Scottish mum's english, think Rod has it the other way round.  I'm actually not anti-english, just don't support english sporting teams.  Is that such a big issue?

Not an issue at all. The only slighty annoying thing is your continued use of a lower case 'e' at the start of England, or English, but I suspect you do it to get people annoyed anyway.

Your like "House" Ben, but in terms of dealing with the complexities of the mind.  Do you walk with a limp?
