how can i reset my firefox settings? is there a way. At the moment whenever i click on a screen the blinking typing cursor appears and its really annoying.

you could uninstall it and reinstall it. Sounds a bit strange, have you tried to install a funny extension? Or have you played with setting to do with the way you select text?

err yeah something came up yesterday saying something about changing the way i select text, and i clicked yes to get it away. With hindsight i think that was a mistake

Think I figured it.
Go tools > options. Click advanced. Make sure "always use cursor keys to navigate within pages" is un-ticked.

open a new tab and go put about:config into the address bar.
click through when it says about it being advanced settings
then tell be what the values are next to "accessibility.browsewithcaret", it should be near the top.
