Yes, it's happening. As good as he is - Murray irritates me.

Very entertaining game, Murray pummelled Nadal for 2 sets and was well worthy of his 2-0 lead. He's a break down in the third 3-2 but now we have a rain delay.
edit: annabel croft, I still would

I still think Murray will blow it though. The rain could help him but then it could help Nadal. Most people were starting to watch the tennis more than the drap first half of the football at the pub before the rain came.

You may be right, Nadal is #1 for a reason. But Murray is improving and I doubt that many would have had it down for (worst case) a 5 setter.

Tennis balls tend not to bounce to well when wet.

cricket's stops because bowlers would break their legs in wet weather (somewhere between broken and having a stretched muscle anyway ) the US Open is the best sporting event after the Ashes, probably then the Ryder Cup. Then the Olympics.

Then the Olympics. I wonder why you post on a football forum. Is there a reason? I'm not trying to antagonise, I'm just wondering.

He's right about the Ashes and the Ryder cup though. Makes any football look a bit shit.

That's only because we are always in the Ashes and the Ryder Cup.

Ashes is that thing where we are so bad at it that when we do eventually win the players get honoured by the ueen. It a two horse race FFS, and we are consantly done by a nation with half our population (but twice our sunshine). Ryder Cup is good, largely because anything we can beat the yanks at is good. Golf is dull to watch on TV and too time consuming and difficult to play. Clearly football pisses on both of them.
