Are you joking? You wouldn't lie about something serious like that? Would you? Wine doesn't go off! Fred, What have you done?
Maybe Fred took the cork out to see if it was still OK, and in a nano-second whilst his gaze was averted a tiny bug jumped in and died of alcohol poisoning and as its body decomposed it started a catalytic reaction which turned the wine into a pungent mess which Fred didn't find out about until, having replaced the cork the first time, he decided to look after your interests again and took the cork out again some time later ... Only joking mate
its still at home along with your Birthday presents from Jenna
Realising that you would be heartbroken he rushed out and bought another bottle having steamed the label off of the original one and then fixed it on the replacement bottle just like when you look after someone's goldfish while they go on holiday and it dies ... Awesome.
... and they all lived happily ever after.

No but she is a greedy fucker.....................sometimes I spoil Dave for a while by taking Wanda out and put her in a saucepan and then feed Dave as much as he wants until he throws up. Oh and I bought them some plants and now they keep playing hide and seek !

Ace. You should train up Wanda's heat resistance by heating up the saucepan to one degree hotter each time you do it. Soon she'll be able to swim in volcanoes and stuff.

Back to orignal post, does this mean if you've paid by debit card you're proper screwed? My MRs being the nice gal that she is bought 6 tickets for her and her mates (on debit card) and so has lost £140ish (I think). I take it that's that then? I'd ask my mates if it were me to chip in, but I doubt she will.

I read it as only people who paid by cash may lose out.

Those who used debit cards ... just call your bank and ask. Explain the situation, as there may be some mechanism for them to give refunds. Normally only applies to cr. cards, but I got a refund once on a dr. card although I think it was because the company involved had not taken the money by the time I told the bank. Effectively, the bank declined the payment asking the merchant to get additional identification from me as they "suspected fraudulent use".

You'll probably need to register the debt with the reciever and then recieve 1p in the £ if your lucky
Not sure how it works on Debit cards, I assume it is the same as cash though unfortunetly, technically her mates should still pay her for their ticket......
