Oh, and have you tried listening to any rap/hip hop outside of the fiddy cent style modern chart hangers? There is some good thoughtful stuff out there if you have a dig about. I ain't no expert on the subject but De la Soul - Three feet hight and rising is worth a listen if you fancy something a bit more interesting, as is A Tribe Called Quest - People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. They're two I like anyway.
