I know. So is Bath. Nowhere is perfect, and I'm quite contented where I am.

You might be able to get a good deal for Kenya. The beaches are superb, coral reefs & all. However if you go to Kenya you really have to do a 2/3 day Safari which would add to the cost, but is superb.

Hmmmm Kenya is a funny one and IMO needs to be done properly ie spending a bit on a decent safari with good quality accommodation as the last thing you want after a long day animal watching in the heat is a stuffy room with no air con!

Kenya however is awesome and the best holiday I have ever had.  Just depends how much you want to spend really.  Somak are a pretty good company to use.

I fancy living abroad one day for a few years (nothing to do with England: I just think it would be an exciting change of pace) - the missus has got a useful Science related degree which opens a suprising amount of doors.

I rarely go on holiday abroad though... Boo.

As most know, I've just returned to Blighty from spending 3 years living in the USA. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my time overseas, made some extremely good friend (who my wife and I consider as family, and we are to them) and would return in a heartbeat.

Apart from family and friends here, and of course STFC, there is nothing else about this country I would miss frankly. Sad I know, but true.

And in response to the original post, Tunisia or Morocco?
