The only people who are not funny are the ones who listen to most of the endless crap that comes out these days like The Fratellis, Scounting for Cunts, Kooks etc. It got boring about 2 years ago.
Too much of that shite about, but its the way its going. Indie has become the preserve of lumpen proles. A mate of mine runs XFM clubnight in London and we were chatting about it. He was saying that even a year ago the people who came to the night knew about music. They'd be asking for b sides of rakes singles and ramming the dancefloor for it. Now its all Kasabian, kooks and fratellis. Terrace chants for those with no souls.
