Hero's in a half shell, Turtle Power!

Not sure we should be paying money for this player.

Seems it's gonna be performance related though so not a great risk, though I dare say there's a small up front fee, guess we just hope for the best with him.

I don't think we should sign him... having thought about it, we have Vincent, Kennedy, Aljofree, and Jack Smith who are all capable of playing leftback. I'd save the money and ofer more wages to Betsy to speed that along, or use it on Marshall...

mulley, the problem there would be that if aljofree or vincent played left back, its only a 3/4 black four. maybe 3.5/4 if aljofree's there, he's a little bit foreign Wink

plus this guy has an awesomeo name.

What leggett said.

But also, isn't he supposed to be good at getting forward, cross over with the winger sort of full back? Sounds like fun.

I see that MM is saying the Casal can also play further forward so I wonder if that is a Zaboub type player where he was signed as a left back but ended up playing most games wide left, Casal has pace so probably be able to provide good cover for the Macnamee then allow Vincent to get his place back

seems as if our new fullbacks are two out and out athletes with little footballing ability.

worrying.

I haven't seen this Casal play yet, is he a little short on ability then?  As for Amankwaah I'm not sure if we'll see too much of him this season.

I quite like the idea.  We normally have full backs with no pace or ability.

worrying.

Saw him against Cardiff, and he seemed to have more than enough ability. Caught out of position once or twice, but any attacking full back will be.

haha touche.
jack smith, love him or hate him, is a footballer, he can deliver a ball and tackle, he's steady and isn't too prone to a rush of blood to the head. the kind of bloke you want at fullback, stick him in there then you dont really have to worry, he won't win you games but he won't cost you much either.

i kind of get the impression that these other two are the complete opposite. this is quite odd as the one thing im sure malpas can do well is construct a back four, so this isn't a criticism and im sure it'll work out fine.

hmmm
