Reading is a shit hole. I thought Swindon town centre was bad until I went to reading at night.

When you go to a place to visit why do most judge it by the centres....Reading and Swindon are great places to visit if you take away the crappy town centres,In Reading you have the Thames at Caversham and Sonning.....In Swindon there is Lydiard, Coate, and many people outside of Swindon really like Old Town,i cant remember the last time i went in the Town centre its a joke, but Swindon and Reading are good compared to alot of Horror places i get to see.

I read Anna Karenina whilst on holiday, was very enjoyable and a surprisingly easy read.

Currently reading Lipstick traces by Greil Marcus. Its about Punk and how it has its past and influences can be traced far back in history, finding it quite exciting.Want to read Q by Luther Blissett next  Yes

where do you get books so cheap?

Only just seen this post arriba, but I bought them all on Amazon. They advertise second-hand books on there. Most of them cost just £0.01 plus p&p.

I have many books I've read 2 or more times. Some books I read every year or two.

Sebastian Faulks latest "Engleby" is great. I've read it within the last 36 hours.

My brain isn't good enough to read or understand anything good anymore so I'm listening to the Harry Potter audio books as read by Stephen Fry. Good times.
