Cheapest way to get train tickets to laaaaaandon town?

Usually its swindon to didcot, then didcot to london? But this seems to  work out more expensive?

I'm going on the 8th returning on the 11th.

any idea's? I do know someone with a rail card but I'm guessing they check?

Sometimes they check the railcard, sometimes not. Usually I hand it over with my ticket for inspection anyway.

What times are you travelling? I did peak times and you save a lot with advance singles (half price)

It is, I assumed peak time as that's the time people travel most.

Anyway, 2 singles total £17.50 which is cheap as you like. I haven't checked the didcot option.

I selected 11am for both trips and then highlighted the cheapest ticket option. Not sure what times exactly, between 11 and 12 though.

Looks good.

The other possibility is the megabus. Is this any good?

I've never had a problem with Megabus. Dirt cheap if you book enough in advance too

Megabus was ok. Plenty of leg room and only took and an hour and half. Definately worth doing, and cheaper than the train.

Fifteen was ace aswell in london. A plate of steak. Ummmm.
