I would also say the Blair Witch Project.  A lot of people were disappointed with it but I just think they are sad moronic fuckers with no imagination who were hoping to see lots of blood and gore and stuff which is totally missing the point.  I think it was a great film.

You said it my friend. I watched it about a year ago without even knowing what it was about or anything. Didnt sleep for about a week.

Blair Witch was a quality film even if it did not scare me personally.  I was cleverly done and the ending was very good.  The excorcist is one of my favourite films of all time even though that is hardly scary at all!  People must have been weak as shit years ago if they were running out of cinema being sick!

Candiman, Misery, Nightmare On Elm Steet, and Jacobs Ladder.  All films that freaked me when I was young.

I didn't really think it was scary but some of the deaths are quality, when the ladder goes through that blokes eye and the guy gets cut in three by the fence, everyone in the cinema was   :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick and all the annoying people die so no-one cares.

I think they have to start some good old fashioned reality TV horror.

I reacall a stunt on the late great Noel Edmonds house party where they had some celebs at a haunted house then set up a ghostie attack.  Crap by todays standards but was all new and shiny back then.
