Royce Brownlie, Ibon Arrieta, Fola Onibuje... we have had some absolutely dreadful players over the past couple of years no?

Dreadful, maybe but funnily enough they all scored one brilliant goal

He only scored two, neither of which I remember. Notts County away and Shrewsbury away.

he was shit.

Good, constructive critique as always............

May have turned out great, didn't really see enough of him in his favoured position to make an informed opinion (Don't let that stop you, arriba).

Good luck to him.

sorry herthab but i thought the three words i used summed him up.and it was my opinion on him.(one i think many people share)
i saw one flash of something from him against forest green rovers coincidently.and the rest of the times i saw him play he was out of his depth.
as for playing up front it was blatanly obvious he was way down the pecking order.

what do you want me to say?he was ace and should have played more games?
he wasn't and rightly was released.

He was good, never got the chance to impress i don't think. Good luck to him anyway.

Laugh as you may. I dont think Arrieta was given a fair crack of the whip.

Arrieta is a bit different - he was forced upon Sturrock.

and earning a decent wedge

do you not know how much?
im saying 3k a week i reckon

100% agree Arriba.  The reason he didnt get more chances up front is because the management could see that we had 4/5 better strikers in training.  Otherwise it stands to reason that they would have picked him more.

That and when he did get the odd sub apperance on the wing he did very little.

Case closed. Non league player.

I thought the Notts county goal was brilliant-tight angle little dink over the keeper-class,which unfortunately we never saw again!

Brownlie against Barnet was one of the best strikes Ive ever seen at the CG.

If you were going to have a signed on a free shit strikers competition, then Brownlie would have been pick of the bunch.

Wasn't Opara off to Chelsea?

And I thought Onibuje was great fun, always enjoyed watching him play.

If you could have 12 players, he'd be a shoe in for number 12.  Great entertainment.  Kanu meets Dean Hooper.

Good luck to Kaid,he's only young, probably found his correct level, after all he went on
loan to Torquay last season. My understanding is, that they played him on the wing
rather than upfront and he did quite well there.
