Love that place!

The Rita Queen of speed thing is ace although queues are a bit long.  Can't say theres much there that isn't good to be honest.  You'll have a great time!

I've been 3 times, I think.

Rita Queen of Speed is good, as Lady said. Air is also good fun, queues don't get too big on that either. Can't beat Nemesis as well, still a cracker. Oblivion is a good thrill but overrated and not worth the queue, if you aren't too bothered about it then leave it until last.

If you get there early enough you can get fast-passes for the rides which basically appoints you a time to go on the ride, you turn up at that time and jump straight to the front of the queue!

I think fast passes you have to pay for now no matter when you get there?  I know thats how it works at Thorpe Park anyhow, bloody rip off on top of the entrance price but good to avoid the queues.

Make sure you keep 3 quid for your car parking token!

i went last tuesday it was quality although im getting a bit bored of it now.
one bit of advice, there was 8 of us and for every big ride we went in the single riders... for oblivion (90 minute queue) we got on in 5 minutes, same with all the other big ones. there was never only one of us on a ride either.

meant we could go on oblivion about 8 times with a total queing time of abouty 20 minutes, by the last time i was thoroughly unthrilled though.

Alton Towers is brilliant, best to go earlier in the year to avoid queus, suppose schools arn't out yet, so might be ok.

Have a great day.

it's what i always do. if your not bothered about going with someone then do this. not many people seem to have caught on to this which is good
