Who, as I mentioned, will ditch them as soon as another club comes in. I'd imagine Holloway would remain with them as he damanged his reputation at Leicester - it would make their opening day fixture quite interesting I am sure.

They could learn from us. Big names go after 12 months.

Dean Wilkins would be a better for them Looks like it's going to be Roberto Di Matteo with Eddie Newton - if the speculation is true. Fantastic appointment (he has a UEFA 'A' license) but you can't help but feel they will be in exactly the same position sooner or later - loosing their leader to a bigger/more respected club.

I wouldn't particularly agree with it, I like the idea of dull MM doing a steady job, largely unhyped by the media.

Without a doubt a name like Di Matteo sells tickets - in the short term.
I believe Eddie Newton is quite a respected coach these days too (but I recall him being a scummer for a short time too - boo)

A fine (although inexperienced) appointment. Cue "why didn't we go for a big name like Di Matteo he was mint" comments.

not too fussed tbh. He'll flop majorly, or leave when the next big job comes a-calling
