Futurama

Just watched the second out of four of the straight to DVD filmsies.

Good stuff, it was more funny bits tied together than it should have been. The funny bits were funny, so it got away with it. More soapy tit wank moments than the first one, but less of a brilliantly random funny genius plot.

I'm guessing/hoping that the third one will be as random again, and then the last one will pull in some amazing tying it all together in some random way; with loads of connected stuff we didn't notice. One can only hope.

I'm thinking the whole thing has been planned by Bender and the god nebulous thing. The one briefly in the first recent film and that episode which is just a big Bender monologue; where he gets those people living on him.
