what a shit game,. we deserved to lose but not that way, our defence was shocking first half, boruc was class, but we were poor up front and we payed for it, no chace it was a penalty tho

They are a bit crap though aren't they. Yep, but they have a pen now - nice one Howard Webb. I know they've only played one game, but france have been the worst team so far imo I agree. We haven't had a decent ref from England since the Wolves butcher Jack Taylor got the 74 WC final.....our recent reps Mike Riley, just dull shit and Graham Pollska, at least so bad he's now a cult. Even these pail into insignificance when compared to Clive Thomas of blow the whistle as ball flies ointo the net fame...but he was Welsh so that explains it. Don't agree with that call Reg, if time is up when the corner was taken then time is up, this stupid modern day the ball has to be in the middle of the pitch for the match to be over is awful. Good on Clive for calling time when he did.
