The Kings Speech - good. Not sure why Farrell won an oscar and the guy that played the doctor didn't. In my opinion he was better.
I assume you mean Colin Firth (not Farrell!), but I agree Geoffrey Rush was brilliant (played Lionel Logue)

I really don't understand the hype surrounding The King's Speech.

The acting was very good, but the story bored the shit out of me.

I'd love to watch the King's Speech again with Colin Farrell playing King George instead.

Transformers 2

Thin plot and average acting (as was expected). But who gives a fuck about that, it's the transformers innit!

Have you seen Stranger Than Fiction?

OK, on your advice I bought Stranger Than Fiction from Ebay and watched it tonight.
Gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed it, so I take it all back about Will Ferrell Smiley

Battle: Los Angeles

I wanted an invasion film... Not Hurt Locker with aliens.

Rubbish.

I've caught a couple of bits of possibly the most bizarre film I've seen for a while on Sci-Fi channel recently. It was called the Centipede and involved a mad German scientist who tried to make a centipede type creature by joining 3 humans together - bloke at the front, woman behind him with her mouth surgically attached to his anus, another woman behind her also attached on. Only the bloke at the front gets fed, you can guess the rest.....

Not quite sure how he got them there, or how it finished, but it had the feel of an old 60s exploitation flick. It was certainly one of those films that you dont know why you carry on watching it, but just cant seem to switch it off.

This was on again last night. I watched it as I remember you mentioning it. Shit and sick, but like you couldn't switch off.
