Watched I Am Legend last night....good acting by Will Smith but not sure about the storyline.
I think Fred or Mex posted the link to the alternative/oriignal ending they filmed on here. Definately worth a look and I think it was much better.

If you are on lovefilm, get the Omega Man with Charlton Heston, which was the 1st remake from the mid 70's. Even though a little dated, it's far better than I am Legend.

Watched The reader, thought it was very good.Know some people can't stand Kate Winslet, but i've always liked her, think she picks films that aren't easy, and The reader is one of them.
If you liked Gomorrah, there is a great Storyville documentary on the BBC i player about what happened in Naples when it was liberated from the Nazis.Worth a watch.

Saw Duplicity last night, not good, Clive Owen is pretty shit and Julia Roberts was pretty poor too. Really no solid plot and slightly irritating direction that jumps about all over the place. 4/10.

I agree it was total garbage,it was being touted as a thinking person's mr & mrs smith to which i really liked,so i was really looking forward to this one. 3/10 for me and thats being kind.

Watched the updated, The Day the Earth Stood Still last night. I can remember most previous posts slated it, but i thought it was pretty good, and actually enjoyed the now traditional hollywood make up your own mind ending. 6.5/10 And probably keanus most suited role as a monosyballic, alien with no emotions!

Inglorious Basterds was fucking ace.
Watched this on Saturday night. A few good bits in it, but overall I thought it was absolute shite. The worst Tarantino film by a country mile.

I've seen it.Hugely sad,Williams was a very unhappy man.Sheen,as usual, is very good. BBC Four did a few dramas based on famous comedians and they were all impressive.Never seen them repeated though which is a shame.
